Big and bright in Texas.

My team and I reworked the aging branding for Supreme Golf, giving it a refreshed logotype and icon. We also revised the primary and extended color palette with modern devices and accessibility in mind. Supreme Golf’s brand meets WCAG accessibility standards where applicable. From there the brand had limitless flexibility as to where to take the brand voice. The approach we decided to go with was a more relaxed, friendly voice. Through everything we did our focus was to present ourselves as approachable, personable, and/or familiar. This helped separate us from competition who’s overly serious tone had left many customers weary at best or frustrated at worst. Today, Supreme Golf has a reputation for its friendly customer-first reputation — one I am proud to have helped build and be a part of.

A voice for today’s golfer.

That easy-going tone for the brand voice was seen mostly through our email marketing and mobile push notifications. Through visuals and copywriting, we focused on being as clear and transparent to our customers as we could. A/B testing showed us what was working the best, and consumer-friendly promotions helped nurture the existing user-base of over 250,000 customers. Repeat customers could even take advantage of loyalty programs to borderline reserve their tee times for little to no-cost. For a select handful of those power-users, we would send personal care packages of merch with a handwritten card thanking them for their continued patronage.

The corporate side of golf.

Supreme Golf is heavily involved in the golf industry as a major player, either sponsoring or attending many conventions and tradeshows. Print materials, presentation decks, and digital marketing for the latest subscription service being offered were key elements needed for the business teams to extended our sphere of influence and sell the latest B2B products. The Supreme Golf Club is one such product, and is just as much for the golf course as it is for a golfer.
