The influence of anime in black culture.
Three friends banded together to start The Kame House Podcast — sharing their commentary on various fandoms in anime and manga from a black point-of-view. We worked together on concepting some visuals they felt best represent their relationship with the mediums. Through color selection and small visual references we captured their cultural references and created a vibrant rendition of a very famous location in the world of anime. Key deliverables were keyart for episodes, social media art, and various forms of the illustration and type to print on merch. The Kame House Podcast is listed on Spotify and YouTube.
